Reducing Friction to Adopt & Advocate for Planet-Friendly Behavior
Bikeshare docks, community gardens, composting drop-offs, thrift stores, food co-ops, the community center that hosts a repair cafe on the second Saturday of every month. This infrastructure exists, scattered across a dozen city agencies, nonprofit websites, and Instagram accounts, so finding out a complete picture of what's near you takes work

My hypothesis: If residents can see what planet-friendly infrastructure exists within walking distance of home, all in one place, it can help elevate the planet-friendly choice as the easy choice A resident deciding where to live and a planner arguing for infrastructure investment are asking related questions. The tool answers both from the same data: a personal address lookup and a citywide gap map by census tract I developed the research framework, defined the scoring methodology, and led the strategic and design work. The build is being implemented using Claude Code, with technical architecture and data decisions shaped by my direction
