Leaning into the romance and promise of living in dense, connected cities, the project is an ongoing research and storytelling project that believes in strangers’ potential to spark everyday neighborhood pride, belonging, and joy, while bringing people together across lines of difference.

I launched the first phase in 2025 – investigating patterns in psychosocial and built environment factors that facilitate positive interactions between strangers through interviews.
